   I’m Michael, and I’m a cognitive psychologist at a liberal arts college in Ohio (the land of many such places!). I’ve had an itinerant academic life, with studentitude stops in Gambier, OH, South Bend, IN, Chicago, Edmonton, East Lansing and Boston. Teaching posts were in Boston and Albion, Michigan before landing in the here and now.

I reside in a little village where freedom of expression is high — as measured by attendance at peace vigils on Saturdays and the mean number of bumper stickers per vehicle.
